decorative column Auteuil

Here is our 'Auteuil' classic decorative model of architectural column (or 'pillar') in cast and extruded aluminium. Designed for architectural challenges, it is a thin but aesthetic and ornamental model with a Corinthian-style cast capital.

It is well suited for traditional verandah's, pergolas and balconies, arcades and canopies or for inside decoration or renovation works. It will be also very adequate for loggias or mezzanines. It is a model of traditional elegance, but it is also a structural solution. We will cut it to measure on demand. Heritage and legacy style are at their best in these very discrete but superb and elegant decorative columns.

Part of the 16th arrondissement of Paris, the Auteuil area is one of the whealtiest districts of Paris, with very elegant and very expensive mansions. It is also a very quiet neighbourhood, which is rare in Paris. Auteuil has also a beautiful horse racing track on 33 hectares of land; it is the host to many prestigious 'Grand Prix' races. Auteuil was home to Victor Hugo and Molière, and it was the birthplace of Marcel Proust. This writer needed quietness so much that he had all the walls of his parisian apartment covered with thick lead sheets...

All the cast elements of our columns are manufactured in our own sand-casting aluminium foundry in the North-West of Belgium, which was incorporated 60 years ago.
